NZ's child protection law under threat
The 'Yes' vote - New Zealands referendum on Child Disapline 2009
New Zealand's child protection law (the legislation to prevent assault against children) is under threat by an unnecessary and expensive referendum. Barnardos, Plunket, Save The Children, Unicef, and others are on a campaign to retain NZ's current Child Discipline Law (Amended Section 59) as hitting your kids is illegal in NZ, and we want to keep it that.
