350.org is a group of people from around the country (and around the world) who are concerned about the effects of climate change on our future and that of the planet. The name 350 is relevant because if we do not reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to 350 parts per million (ppm) we will cause huge and irreversible damage to the earth.

Their philosophy is to work with people to create urgent and effective action so that New Zealand and the planet can make it to 350ppm!
