What is Cyber Bullying?

Cyber Bullying is the use of modern communication medium to show somebody up, to harass, threatens, or target somebody else. It’s a recent development therefore statistics and research that describe the problem are very minor. Nowadays nobody can deny that young people spent plenty of time in the Internet and use this also to have contacts to other people and friends. The importance of social networks for young people grows. So therefore the risk of Cyber Bullying also gets bigger.

In contrast to Bullying, which can happen at school or work, Cyber Bullying can affect people 24/7 via mobile phone or the Internet. Also it’s hard to keep control over pictures or information once it’s uploaded because they’re broadcast very quickly. It’s also scary not to know exactly who is responsible for those attacks.
