Youth TV at the NPT!

 NPT-TV is a dynamic online TV programme developed by youth interviewing key people at the 2009 Conference of States Parties to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Recent years have seen nuclear weapons spreading to new countries (India, Pakistan, North Korea), the possibility of terrorists acquiring nuclear weapons and a stalemate in nuclear disarmament negotiations. However, President Obama’s personal message to this conference set the scene for a new era of nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation with the possibility of a nuclear-weapons-free world now coming into view.
