nuclear non-proliferation, and see how the disarmament machinery works at theUnited Nations!
Dialogue with decision makers
You will be able to meet diplomats, who are negotiating at the NPT PrepCom, gainmore insight into each state's positions on nuclear disarmament and nuclear nonproliferation, and remind them of their responsibility toward our future. You will also have the opportunity to draft a “youth speech,” which will be presented at the plenary of the conference!
Workshops
During the workshops, you will learn more about nuclear weapons, the current political situation, and international campaign strategies for nuclear abolition with international disarmament experts! There will also be a special workshop with a Hibakusha, an atomic bomb survivor.
Actions
Make your voice heard, and show the negotiating States that the world’s eyes are on them! We will hold vigils in front of the conference building and inform the population of Vienna about the NPT Prep Com by organizing street actions.
