This course enables you to develop practical and analytical skills that will increase your ability to intervene constructively in different types of conflict situations at the inter-personal, inter-communal and international levels. We explore such concepts as peace, violence, justice & reconciliation along with a range of topics including nonviolence & peace-building.

The course is delivered mainly through Distance Learning, with a two-week intensive summer school at Coventry University, United Kingdom.

Online study:
16 July – 31 December 2012

Summer School:
6 August – 17 August 2012 (2 weeks residential)

The course carries 60 postgraduate credits and successful graduates can transfer to our MA in Peace and Reconciliation Studies, which they can complete by distance learning.

Training Cost:

UK/EU students £1,850 and International students (non EU) £2,580 including accommodation. The deadline for applications including scholarship applications is 06 April 2012.

Intended Audience:

Graduates who would like to work for an NGO in a region of conflict, practitioners working in the field, people working in either the statutory or non-governmental sector, members of organisations facing conflict over change within the workplace or organisational setting and anyone interested in acquiring these kinds of skills and knowledge.
